WHAT IS VANUATU NOBLE® TRADITIONAL GRIND KAVA & WHY DOES EVERYONE LOVE IT?

Kava is the ground root of a plant grown in the South Pacific called Piper Methysticum, (intoxicating pepper) a member of the pepper family and related to black pepper. It is native to the South Pacific where growing conditions are ideal.

The Kava root is dried and ground to a power and then steeped in water, like a tea, strained and consumed as a drink.

It has been consumed socially and ceremonially in Vanuatu for over 3000 years and is known to relax muscles and induce feelings of wellbeing and even euphoria.

EFFECTS - Why everyone loves Vanuatu Noble® Kava

Kava works with your GABA receptors to slow down your central nervous system and
promote dopamine production.

What you can expect when you drink kava:

  • Tingling - the first sign of kava working its magic is often felt in your lips and tongue
  • Mild euphoria - Relax, laugh, and unwind naturally.
  • Sociability - enjoy the social buzz and feelings of connection
  • Relaxation - Eliminate Stress & Anxiety.  Feel calm, clear, and in control.
  • Bliss - A natural state of calm and equilibrium
  • Presence - Feeling in the moment and free from outside worries
  • Enhanced Cognition - feeling sharp and lucid. No slurred speech or embarrassing moments.
  • Improved sleep - Wake up feeling fresh. No Hangovers, No Headaches
HOW DOES KAVA WORK? KAVALACTONES EXPLAINED

Kava contains naturally occurring active ingredients called Kavalactones.

These Kavalactones affect our autonomic
nervous system – the part of the central nervous system that regulate
involuntary body responses.

They do this via a neurotransmitter called GABA (GAMMA AMINOBUTERIC ACID) which is known for producing a calming effect by lessening the ability of the nerve cells to receive, create and send chemical messages to other nerve cells.

So, Kava works via GABA to slow down the nervous system and stimulate dopamine in the brain, replacing anxiety stress and fear with pleasure, satisfaction and simply feeling good.

Kava’s effectiveness depends on the ratio, quantity and quality of kavalactones present in the kava. Kavalactone are naturally occurring and present in different ratios in each Cultivar, meaning that each Kava Cultivar will have a slightly different effect. Please see the main product page for the cultivar and effects.

  1. Desmethoxyyangonin exerts anti-inflammatory effects and stimulates dopamine to produce an antidepressant effect and promote mental cognition
  2. Dihydrokavain can reduce anxiety, calming muscles and the central nervous system
  3. Yangonin enhances GABA and helps to moderate the nervous system
  4. Kawain helps to relax your muscles
  5. Dihydromethysticin can relieve pain, relax muscles and increase the brains serotonin levels
  6. Methysticin improves cognitive function and acts as a pain reliever

Customer video review of INSTANT KAVA - SINGLE ORIGIN - Melo Melo

This kava definitely helps me relax and I also find I can tolerate people around me drinking while I’m not which is something I usually struggle with. I’m also sleeping better and whether that’s due to the Kava or ditching alcohol I can’t say. I’ll definitely be getting another order in soon.
